Marsh-Pink Sabatia

Marsh-Pink Sabatia, Sabatia dodecandra

The pink, or early white, corolla lobes of these rhizomatous perennials are 1-2 cm long and may vary in number from six to thirteen. This Sabatia is relatively common in wet pinelands in parts of central Florida but generally rare elsewhere in its range through northern Florida into the coastal plain areas of Mississippi and Virginia.
