Lantana, Lantana camara

The opposite ovate leaves of this erect or spreading shrub vary from 3-8 cm in length, and the weakly two-lipped flowers may vary from cream to yellow or pink, changing to orange or scarlet. The fruits are poison. A native of Florida, adjacent to Georgia, and west to Texas and tropical America. (Florida Wildflowers and Roadside Plants, 1982)
