Cedar Waxwing, Bombycilla cedrorum
Cedar Waxwings are almost always seen in flocks. They eat insects and berries in summer and berries almost exclusively in winter. Their thin, very high-pitched call is a good way to recognize their presence. (The Stokes Essential Pocket Guide to Birds of North America, 2014)
