Duck Potato

Duck Potato, Sagittaria falcata

These native aquatic perennials with elliptic leaf blades have flowers 2-3 cm across. The various species are frequent in marshes, swamps, ponds, and wet ditches from south Florida north through much of the eastern United States. (Florida Wildflowers and Roadside Plants, 1982)
